I would be really excited if they had really re-made the Bessa II and kept the 6×9 format. There is enough choice in the 6×6/6×7 range as it is, so this camera doesn’t seem to add much. Also, it is bulkier than the original Bessa II, so I have a hard time detecting the ‘improvements’.

Mrs. Deane, I think the improvements will come in the form of reliability and the viewfinder. I used to have a Bessa R and that thing had a great viewfinder/rangefinder.
Artists are not allowed talk about equipment. This allows us to move beyond what is necessary to produce a photograph. The photograph then appears to materialize on it’s own accord becoming oh so esoteric! I really want one of those cameras so I can never talk about it!
I’ve been dreaming about a 66/67 combination for years. This would be an incredible camera to travel with, and I might actually be convinced to part with the two I have in exchange.
